The company that runs well-known Dublin nightclub Copper Face Jacks earned pre-tax profits of €4.94 million, or €95,000 per week, in the 12 months to the end of January 2015.

The Irish Independent reports that new accounts filed by Cathal and Paula Jackson's Breanagh Catering Ltd showed that these earnings pushed the firm's cash pile beyond the €50 million mark.

The multi-million euro profit report for the company in 2015 follows pre-tax profits of €5.55 million in the year to the end of January 2014, representing a decrease of 11 per cent.

Copper Face Jacks is owned by former garda Mr Jackson and located in the Jackson Court Hotel on popular nightlife spot Harcourt Street (pictured).

The accounts filed also showed that Cathal and Paula Jackson's Breanagh Catering employ 193 staff, with staff costs totalling  €3.75 million.
