Aramark to Create 100 New Jobs As It Partners With Freshii For Irish Expansion

Freshii, the health-food restaurant chain, has partnered with US food services company Aramark to open a number of new outlets in Ireland, resulting in the creation of 100 additional jobs.

The deal has seen Freshii recently open a new location in Arnott's Department Store on Abbey Street with plans for a new store in Trinity College Dublin, which will be its fifth and sixth Irish locations. It will also expand into the UK as well as a further ten Aramark-led locations, reports RTE.

Freshii, which serves breakfasts, soups, salads, wraps, bowls, burritos, frozen yogurt, juices and smoothies, has restaurants in over 85 cities in 15 countries. Its current Irish outlets are based in the CHQ Building, Lusk and Enfield West Applegreen, and Dublin's Mespil Road. Master franchise holders Dave O'Donoghue and Cormac Manning previously said they had plans to open 30 to 40 stores in the next three to five years.

Aramark's expansion into Ireland has seen it buy Avoca in a deal said to be in excess of €60 million as well as a five year partnership with healthy eating chain Chopped.
