Mercantile Group Launches New Bar On South William Street

The Mercantile Group, which earlier this year made headlines following its merger with Capitol Bars, will open the doors of its new high-end bar with a 60 seater restaurant and nightclub on South William Street in Dublin.

The group will host its launch party for its new venture, Farrier & Draper, on Thursday evening (28 April).

It will be located in the former Lost Society venue, an 18th century townhouse, at the Powerscourt Townhouse on South William Street and is aimed at 'media creatives, artists and advertising industry people'.

According to lovindublin.com, waiters and bar staff will wear authentic 1920's clothes, including peaky blinder hats, shirts and sleeve garters.

The launch of Farrier & Draper follows the Mercantile Group's expansion plans to spend 8 million over the next two years within the hospitality industry.
