Johnnie Fox's - Ireland's highest pub - has seen its gross profits rise by six per cent in the last 12 months, from €2.9 million to €3.08 million.
The pub, located in Glencullen in the Dublin Mountains, saw a pre-tax profit of nearly €226,000 in 2014, up from just under the 200K mark in 2013, according to the Irish Independent.
The pub is tourist destination and is popular with celebrities and politicians due to its atmosphere, music and staff. Owner Tony McMahon is predicting better results this year as "business is going extremely well."
"We have bookings six months in advance at the moment for food and entertainment. There is a different crowd here every single night," said McMahon.
