Red Cow Ibis Hotel On Market For €13m

After purchasing the hotel less than two years ago for just over €5 million, the UK consortium that owns the Ibis Hotel at the Red Cow interchange in Dublin has put the property back on the market for over €13 million.

The 150-bedroom hotel, which is owned by Cannock Ltd and operated on a franchise basis by Accor Hotels under the Ibis brand, has been placed on the market by selling agent Christie & Co, reports The Irish Times, with the sale deal being offered including an adjoining site of 0.81 of an acre zoned for residential use.

Christie & Co's Dave Murray said the planned sale of the Ibis presented 'a rare opportunity for investors and developers to acquire a highly profitable, limited service hotel along with an adjoining development site beside Ireland’s busiest motorway junction – the M50/N7 intersection'.

The 17-year old Ibis hotel boasts two meeting rooms and an open-plan, ground-floor space which features the hotel reception, bar, lounge and dining areas that can cater for approximately 100 people, while it also has a car park with 180 spaces.
