Aer Lingus and Java Republic Team Up

Aer Lingus has announced that Java Republic, one of Ireland's biggest coffee companies, will supply on-board coffee on its short haul flights.

The airline will add the filter coffee as part of its in-flight, Bia menu. The coffee will be available on all Aer Lingus flights to European destinations.

Grace O’Shaughnessy (pictured, centre), managing director of Java Republic, said that the two companies were known for being trusted Irish brands that are committed to moving with the times.

“I’m proud that this partnership is allowing us to put our fresh, hand-roasted, coffee within reach of more people and thus giving them the opportunity to taste the quality coffee experience that we have carefully hand-crafted in our very own roastery in Dublin,” she added.

Chief commercial officer for Aer Lingus Mike Rutter (pictured, left), said: “We’re delighted to partner with Java Republic to offer Aer Lingus guests the very best of Irish on board. We continue to develop our bia menu to ensure we’re meeting our guests’ needs and working with local Irish suppliers is very much rooted in our overall retail strategy.”

Java Republic has its headquarters in Ballycoolin in north Dublin where its Roastery Café is based.
