BamBoo Brings Asian Cuisine To Parliament Street

Dublin’s city centre now has a new Asian cuisine restaurant. Based at the former home of Salamanca Fusion on Parliament Street, BamBoo aspires to offer diners Asian food with European influences.

At the helm in the kitchen is Australian Head Chef Marcus Davies, who has extensive previous experience working in Asian-inspired restaurants in both Dublin and Amsterdam. “I have a passion for all things Asian”, he says. “I spent some time travelling through Asia, especially parts of Japan, to gather inspiration for my cooking.”

Diners at BamBoo can expect a three part menu featuring sushi, Asian tapas and mains including Thai chicken wings and Japanese Hibachi ribs. The restaurant will also host regular events like sake and sushi nights and sushi-making classes.

Owner Caroline Boyle says “We are very excited with this venture which sees us breaking new ground. Marcus and his team are brimming with ideas which will be brought to life on a plate”.

Located at 38-40 Parliament Street in Dublin 2, BamBoo opens from 12 noon until late.
