Benbulben Suites In Sligo Hits The Market For €2.5m

County Sligo tourist, residential and industrial complex Benbulben Suites has hit the market with an asking price of €2.5 million.

The property encompasses two structures, one of which contains 54 two-bedroom apartments that generated a turnover of €481,000 with a net profit of €186,000 in 2016, according to The Irish Independent.

At present, the suites in this part of the premises serve as a synthesis of short-term tourist and student accommodation, with units currently made available for both markets all year round. The second structure is an industrial building at the rear of the property that's currently occupied by the HSE and generates an annual rent of €63,000.

The Benbulben Suites facility was originally developed by Tom Coyle 12 years ago to serve as self-catering accommodation for families and overflow for the adjacent Clayton Hotel before the hotel was separated from the suites in 2010. Located on the Clarion Road, the complex includes approximately 1.5 acres of land as well as 51 car parking spaces, and provides easy access to the Clayton's restaurant, bar, swimming pool, gym and sauna.
