Boyne Brewhouse 'Imperial Stout' Named 'Best Beer In Ireland'

Boyne Brewhouse scooped eight awards at the sixth annual Dublin Alltech, Craft Beer and Cider Cup 2018 in the Convention Centre, Dublin. Boyne Brewhouse ‘Imperial Stout’ was crowned the ‘Best Beer in Ireland’ while the Boyne Brewhouse Saison, also received top honours on the night.

The Alltech Craft Brews and Food Fair hosted craft breweries, cideries and distilleries from Ireland and around the world last weekend at Dublin's Convention Centre. Over 320 craft beers battled it out over eight categories for recognition as the best Craft Beer in Ireland. The beers were rated, tested and analysed by an expert international panel of judges and critiqued based on appearance, aroma, flavour, body, style and quality.

Richard Hamilton, Boyne Brewhouses Creative Brewer, said, "We’re delighted to have won these awards. We take great pride in ensuring that we use only the best ingredients and our own Boyne Valley spring water go into making our craft beers. A lot of time has been taken to perfect our recipes and winning these acclaimed awards is testament to the quality of these ingredients, brewing styles and inspirations."
