Bunsen Owners Open New Mexican Food Venue

Bunsen founders Tom and Finn Gleeson have opened a new Mexican food venue called Masa on Dublin's Drury Street.

The Sunday Business Post reports that the restaurant is being run by Tom and Finn's brother Shane, who has travelled extensively throughout Mexico and has worked for Mexican food chain Wahaca in London.

All About The Food

Tom Gleeson explained, "Essentially, we are trying to recreate the conditions in which we started Bunsen. It's going to be product led; it's really all about the food. And then hopefully everything else falls into place."

Masa's menu consists of a short list of small plates and some beers. The venue's flour wraps are made by a tortilla maker brought in from Mexico while meat is roasted on a Pastor, which is a shawarma type spiral grill introduced to Mexico by Lebanese merchants.
