Chapter One And Danni Barry Win Big Awards At RAI Ceremony

Ross Lewis's Chapter One scooped the Best Restaurant award at last night's Restaurant Association of Ireland (RAI) awards at the Clayton Hotel.

Danni Barry, head chef at Deanes Eipic in Belfast, who is Ireland's only Michelin star female chef, was named Best Chef for 2017.

Meanwhile, Dublin restaurant Forest & Marcy won the awards for Best Newcomer and Best Emerging Irish Cuisine. The restaurant’s head chef, Ciaran Sweeney, was also named best chef in Dublin.

Alain Kerloc’h of Ox in Belfast was named Best Restaurant Manager.
