Doyle Collection Records €11 Million Profit Boost
The Irish-owned Doyle Collection Hotel Group has seen its after-tax profits increase by €11.1 million to €31.1 million in the year ending of December 2015.
This is an improvement on the previous financial period, which saw the hotel group get an after-tax profit of €20 million, according to The Irish Times.
Its portfolio includes three hotels in Ireland, such as the Dublin city centre 5-star 178 bedroom Westbury hotel, The Marleybone and The Bloomsbury in London, and The Dupont Circle in Washington. The company also undertook a revaulation of its properties which saw an uplift of €53.8 million in value.
Accounts filed also showed that the Doyle Collection saw its turnover rise by 18.8 per cent to €133 million and its earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and emortisation before exceptional items increase by 11 per cent to €28.3 million.
So far in 2016, the hotel group has completed projects such as the Wilde Restaurant in the Westbury, invested in the Dalloway Terrace Restaurant and the Bloomsbury Club as well as refurbishing some of its suites at its Marleybone hotel.
