Britvic Ireland Appoints New Head Of People And Planet For Island Of Ireland Market
Britvic Ireland has appointed Sian Young as its head of people and planet for the island of Ireland market.
As reported by drinksindustryireland.ie, Young is a University of Oxford Experimental Psychology graduate and an experienced marketeer and sustainability specialist who has worked for Ballygowan owner Britvic for more than a decade and a half.
Head Of Sustainability
Young was reportedly seconded to a project in 2018 leading out the development of a sustainability strategy for Ballygowan and subsequently became the company's head of sustainability in January of 2020. When she was appointed head of sustainability, Young became responsible for Britvic's sustainability strategy across its entire Irish business.
Young reportedly now engages with issues such as Britvic Ireland's carbon footprint, packaging circularity and protection of natural resources, and is also responsible for ensuring that Britvic Ireland's approach the wellbeing of its employees, consumers and communities is responsible and caring.
