Main Investor Of Co. Down's Hinch Distillery Wins Lifetime Achievement Award
Founder and former owner of Belfast-based packaging firm Delta Print & Packaging and current driving force and main investor of Co. Down's Hinch Distillery Doctor Terry Cross OBE has won a lifetime achievement award.
As reported by The Irish News, Cross, who founded Delta Print & Packaging in 1981 and sold it five to Finnish rival Huhtamaki five year for approximately £80 million, received a special lifetime achievement honour in front of 600 guests at the 2021 AIB Business Eye Awards, which reportedly took place at ICC Belfast.
Cross reportedly rescued Bordeaux vineyard Château de La Ligne over 20 years ago and restored it to its former glory, and has reportedly since invested approximately £15 million to open Co. Down distillery Hinch, which has reportedly already won a clutch of business awards.
