New Whiskey Brand Called Limerick Whiskey To Be Launched In August
A new whiskey brand called Limerick Whiskey will be launched in August.
As reported by The Irish Independent, the new brand was co-founded by friends Tony Foote, Liam McInerney and Alice Carroll.
According to The Irish Independent, Foote is a chartered accountant for X, Google's Moonshot Factory, which invests in tech startups, McInerney co-owns Fishambles Architects in Dublin, and Carroll was a global brand developer with Pernod Ricard and has previously worked on whiskeys such as Jameson, Redbreast, Chivas, and The Glenlivet.
Carroll told The Sunday Independent that the inspiration for the brand came after Foote realised that Limerick does not have a whiskey that represents the city, as other towns and cities do.
