Electric Picnic Founder To Open Gastro Bar-Music Venue In Dublin City Centre

Restaurateur and Electric Picnic founder, John Reynolds, is to open a "quirky" live music venue at 5 Clarendon Market and which will also have a gastro bar serving "rustic" Irish food.

Width of a Circle Ltd, which lists Reynolds as a director, had received planning permission from Dublin City Council for change of use of the building from a retail shop to a bar/restaurant with terrace and a live music venue on the first floor, with plans to open it within the next six months, reports fora.ie.

Reynolds, whose portfolio includes the Market Bar, Tripod, The Chelsea Drugstore and Idlewild bar on Fade Street, said the venue will employ 32 staff and that he will be involved in its running.
