From June 4 – 17, Bord Bia will be running a two week ‘Flex Your Mussels’ campaign, which will include numerous activities across many channels to encourage consumers to eat Irish mussels and remind consumers how healthy they are. The campaign activities include advertisements on radio, outdoor advertisements, digital marketing and cookery demonstrations on TV3.
Bord Bia is also calling upon Irish restaurants to consider including mussels on their menus during the promotion and to support the campaign through social media channels using the hashtag #FlexYourMussels.
Bord Bia has also developed A5 blackboards and tent cards which can be placed around restaurateur's premises to encourage customers to choose Irish mussels from their menus. These can be ordered via e-mail from [email protected].
