Discussions Between Aer Lingus And ISIF Regarding Additional Loan Requirements Continuing

As reported by The Irish Independent, discussions between Aer Lingus and the Ireland Strategic Investment Fund (ISIF) regarding additional loan requirements are continuing as Aer Lingus deals with the ongoing impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Cool On Possibility Of Providing Further Funding

However, industry sources have reportedly indicated that in recent weeks the ISIF has been cool on the possibility of providing further funding to Aer Lingus, which is part of International Airlines Group (IAG).

Previous Loan

The ISIF, which operates under the auspices of the National Treasury Management Agency (NTMA), has reportedly already provided a loan of €150 million to Aer Lingus, which was reportedly paid in two tranches.
