Fáilte Ireland Presents Mayo Visitor Attractions With Service Excellence Awards

Fáilte Ireland has awarded six visitor attractions located along the Route Millenia Mayo driving and touring route with Service Excellence Programme Business Awards.

The six attractions are the National Museum of Ireland - Country Life at Turlough Park, Castlebar; Céide Fields in Ballycastle; the Michael Davitt Museum in Straide; Foxford Woollen Mills; the Belleek Visitor Centre at Belleek Castle; and the Jackie Clarke Collection in Ballina.

Fáilte Ireland's Service Excellence Programme prepares tourism businesses to reach and maintain the highest standards in customer service excellence, encourage positive recommendations, gain additional repeat business, and ultimately drive greater visitor numbers to their area and increase visitor spend.

"Delighted"

Head of enterprise and hospitality development at Fáilte Ireland, Martina Bromley, stated, "As the National Tourism Development Authority, our focus is on ensuring visitors experience the very best of Ireland. Our accredited Service Excellence Programme is all about strengthening competitiveness and helping tourism businesses to provide an experience that differentiates Ireland from its international competitors.

"We are delighted to present the six businesses which make up Route Millenia Mayo with the Service Excellence Business Award. This award substantially reinforces their reputation in customer service excellence, putting the visitor at the centre of everything they do."
