Lineup for Spotlight Stage at Food & Hospitality Ireland 2015 Announced

The final line up for the Spotlight Stage at this year’s Food & Hospitality Ireland exhibition taking place next week has just been announced.

The exhibition, which takes place for two days starting on Wednesday, 16 September at the Citywest Events Centre is expected to host thousands of visitors from the food, hospitality and retail sectors.

The Spotlight Stage will feature presentations from industry experts, chef demos and panel discussions and will be a hive of activity for the two days.

Martin O’Shea from Musgraves will be in speaking on ‘How to have your product sold through Ireland’s biggest stores’, Conor Dempsey from Dublin’s latest fine dining restaurant, Amuse, will be displaying some of his cooking skills, and Chef Sean Owens from the Butchery Excellence Scheme among others will  be present at the Spotlight Stage.

Day 2 will see the announcement of this year’s Product of the Show winners, which celebrates the most innovative products and services available at this year’s expo.

Food & Hospitality Ireland, incorporating the Speciality & Fine Food Fair Ireland, is taking place on the 16th and 17th September 2015 at the Citywest Events Centre, Dublin. Meanwhile, one of this year’s Food & Hospitality Ireland exhibitors - James Whelan Butchers - has won a supreme award for the best food product in the UK and Ireland at this week’s Guild of Fine Food Awards in London for its Beef Dripping.

Supreme champion, Pat Whelan of James Whelan Butchers, a fifth generation butcher, produces the award-winning beef dripping, which also received a 3 Star Great Taste Award and is included in 2015 Top 50 foods in the UK and Ireland. There are over 10,000 entries into the Great Taste Awards with only 130 receiving the highest and most coveted rating of 3 stars, making this a great achievement for James Whelan Butchers.

James Whelan Butchers will be exhibiting at stand D10 in the Great Taste Market at Food & Hospitality Ireland on the 16-17 September at the Citywest Events Centre, where the supreme award-winning beef dripping can be sampled, along with other products from Whelan’s.
