Heaven Hill Invests $5m In Carolans Irish Cream

American spirit firm Heaven Hill has invested $5 million in Carolans Irish Cream since acquiring the brand along with Irish Mist Whiskey for €341.7 million from Campari in 2017.

The Business Post reports that Heaven Hill intends to introduce another version of Carolans to the market in 2020 and is continuing to work on its plans for going fully to market with Irish Mist.

Iconic Brands

Commenting on the thought process behind the company's acquisition of Carolans and Irish Mist, Heaven Hill president Max Shapira said, "Carolans, having an important position not just in the United States but in various parts around the world, is the second largest selling Irish cream in the world, and Irish Mist has been around a very long time and is an iconic brand itself. And we know today how interesting the Irish whiskey category is. We just thought these were two brands that made a lot of sense to add to our portfolio."
