The Neville Park Hotel Group has announced that its Christmas community donation initiative, Dine Out and Donate, raised €21,736 for charities selected by its employees.
During December, every meal purchased at the restaurants within the Neville Park Hotel Group – including Kelly’s Steakhouse and the Charter Bar & Eatery at the Midlands Park Hotel, Portlaoise, the Prom Bar and Alamo Steakhouse at the Riverside Park Hotel, Enniscorthy, and Jasper’s restaurant at the Crown Quarter, Wexford Town – contributed €1 toward a charity selected by the employees of each property.
The initiative resulted in €11,496 being raised by the Midlands Park Hotel team for Friends of Suicide Loss, an organisation dedicated to offering support services to individuals impacted by suicide in Dublin and surrounding areas.
Additionally, at the Riverside Park Hotel, in Enniscorthy, €7,538 was raised to support Futures In Mind (formerly Talk To Tom), a local charity dedicated to suicide prevention, mental health awareness, and bereavement supports.
Also in Wexford, the Crown Quarter raised €2,729 for the Hope Cancer Support Centre, which provides vital services to people throughout Wexford whose lives have been changed by a cancer diagnosis.
“We are delighted with the incredible results of this programme, supporting such meaningful causes,” said Colm Neville from the Neville Park Hotel Group. “It embodies our commitment to giving back to the communities we serve and championing the issues our teams are passionate about.”
Neville added, “We look forward to expanding on this initiative in 2025, with the inclusion of [the] Newtown Park Hotel, the most recent addition to the Neville Park Hotel Group’s portfolio.”
