Permission Sought For Construction Of Development Including 158-Bed Hotel In Cork City
A new commercial and residential development that includes a 158-bed hotel could be constructed in Ballycureen on the south side of Cork city.
According to The Irish Examiner, leading a consortium, Denis McBarron has submitted plans to Cork City Council for the proposed development, which would be located on Kinsale Road.
The proposed 158-bed hotel would reportedly range in height from six to nine storeys and include a swimming pool, a gym, a bar, a café, a restaurant and a function room.
The development would reportedly also include a restaurant and a gym as well as 13 blocks, totalling 134 residential units; a convenience retail outlet; a dentist; a physio; a hairdressers; a rooftop outdoor amenity; and a creche.
