Commenting on the announcement, Kathleen Linehan, strategic director of human resources at Trigon Hotels said, "It's a tremendous achievement to be shortlisted in this category. We're delighted to be one of five companies in the hotel and leisure sector chosen to go forward to the finals. It's recognition of the Health & Safety & Wellbeing practices that we have implemented across all our hotels. Protecting our guests and team members is our top priority and involves a massive team effort."
Linehan took the time to commended the staff of the group, extending "a huge well done to the Health & Safety Officer at Trigon Hotels, Anne Conway and the HR team for all their work on this."
All three hotels in the Trigon Hotels group boast a four-star rating and previously won the Best Value Hotel in Ireland at the National Hospitality Awards.
