Tullyglass Hotel Of Ballymena, Co. Antrim, Refurbishes Its Clock Tower Ballroom; Hiring 50 New Employees
The Tullyglass Hotel of Ballymena, Co. Antrim, has refurbished its Clock Tower Ballroom and is hiring 50 new employees.
According to The Irish News, the hotel invested £1.5 million in its Clock Tower Ballroom and carried out the refurbishment over the past 18 months. The refurbishment reportedly involved a full interior and exterior makeover of the ballroom, with the addition of new furnishings, and the hotel's owners reportedly have also invested in a state-of-the-art ventilation and air conditioning system, mood lighting, a wedding ceremony room and a wine cellar.
Additionally, the hotel's gardens and outdoor reception spaces reportedly have been connected to the Clock Tower Ballroom to allow wedding parties and guests to move easily between the ballroom and gardens.
The Irish News quotes Tullyglass Hotel owner Gus McConville as saying, "We are looking forward to our reopening on May 24 with renewed vigour and a sense of excitement for what we will bring to both the local market in terms of our hospitality offering and indeed our newly updated wedding space.
"We are also recruiting a further 50 staff which will be a major boost to the local hospitality sector in Ballymena and the local economy at large."
