Kilkenny's Left Bank bar was named 'Best Overall Bar' at the annual Sky Bar of the Year Awards at Dublin's Clayton Hotel on Monday 21 August.
The event, which takes place every year in Ireland, rewards excellence among pubs and licensed drinking venues from across the country in over 30 different categories.
Among the other winners on the day were Galway's An Púcán, which was bestowed with the 'People's Choice Award' and the Highline at Sophie's in Dublin, which took home the trophy for 'Best Late Bar/Nightclub', as reported by The Irish Independent.
Commenting on the festivities, Sky Business managing director David Rey, stated, "We’re delighted to be once again sponsoring the Sky Bar of the Year Awards and rewarding the people that are making the Irish bar industry such a success.
