Long's In Donneybrook Sells For Nearly €1 Million

After several months on the market, one of Dublin's landmark pubs, Long's of Donneybrook has sold for almost €1 million.

The Irish Independent are reporting that the pub was bought by a Cork based solicitors firm for over €900,000.

The pub was long owned by Tipperary natives, the Stapleton family.

The transaction means that Longs is one of the few pubs to be sold this year in a trade sale. Most sales in the sector have been businesses being sold out of receivership.

Long's is is situated on the main street in Donnybrook, very close to the likes of Donnybrook rugby grounds, the RDS and RTE.

It is also just a short distance from the Aviva Stadium, and is likely to be preserved for business.
