Louis Fitzgerald Acquires Bruxelles Of Dublin

Following February's news that Louis Fitzgerald was hoping to purchase Bruxelles pub of Dublin, it has been confirmed that the publican has acquired the venue.

"A Very Good Deal"

The Irish Independent quotes Fitzgerald as saying, "When I first approached Dave [Egan, the previous owner of Bruxelles, about purchasing the pub] he said no, but I told him to think about it and give me a call, which he did. We've done a very good deal and we are very happy with the business that has run here for a long number of years. The food is something we might look at and we have a new head chef coming in. But it's a pub that fits."

Fitzgerald is believed to have paid approximately €10 million for the pub.
