New 'Champagne & Netflix' Boutique Hotel Readies For Opening In Galway

The Residence Hotel, a new boutique hotel in Galway city centre, will open its doors next week, offering an in-room champagne service and plenty of eye-catching artwork.

The Residence, formally The Spanish Arch, will reopen on 29 March by the same people that run popular Galway bar, An Púcán, Garavan’s award-winning Whiskey Bar and The Connacht Hotel in the city.

A spokesperson for The Residence says the new hotel will boast "20 uniquely designed bedrooms, complimentary high speed broadband, Nespresso machines in each room, Netflix on demand, 42inch Sony Smart TV’s USB wall sockets and much more".

The hotel has invested in emerging Irish artists such as Stephen Cooke for some unique artwork around the new hotel based around global music artists.

A spokesperson added that the hotel "boasts a unique reception on its ground floor as well as having the heart of Galway city at its doorstep".
