New Irish Soulfood Restaurant Opens On Dublin's Crow Street

New restaurant Crow Street has just opened for business in Dublin's Temple Bar, offering Irish soulfood with an American twist to create a contemporary take on southern fare. The two storey venue, located at No. 1 Crow Street, combines a dining experience on the ground floor with a parlour and taproom serving small plates and vintage cocktails on the second floor while a private dining room can cater to groups
of 25 or more.

Crow Street is run by restaurateurs David Coffey and Damien Quinn, who also co-own The Sussex Restaurant on Dublin's Lesson Street and 105 Café in Clonskeagh.

Irish Dishes Meet Soulfood Favourites

Crow Street's menu is made up of popular Irish dishes and soulfood recipes favourites such as buttermilk southern-fried chicken and lightly breaded monkfish scampi with pea guacamole and beetroot puree. The venue also serves an assortment of craft beers, wines, liquors, bitters and punches along with vintage cocktails in a chic dining space.

Crow Street operates within a three-storey over-basement structure, the inherent architectural features of which included brick party walls which were exposed to provide texture and a warm tone to the main dining spaces. The existing timber floors were also etained and refinished while reclaimed vintage furniture and artwork sourced from the Bauhaus Archive Gallery in Berlin adorn the walls. An extension to the property's additional two floors is planned in the coming months.

Crow Street will initially serve dinner seven nights from 5-11pm. Service will be extended in time with lunch and brunch will being added.
