Tourism Ireland Launches New Italian Marketing Campaign

14,500 travel agents around Italy are seeing promotions for the island of Ireland right in a campaign aimed specifically at travel agents launched by Tourism Ireland in partnership  with travel trade packaging platform Albatravel.

The campaign aims to increase bookings for city break packages to Dublin and Belfast, with ads running in the Italian travel trade press and on the Albatravel website.

Growing Italian Visitor Numbers

Niamh Kinsella, Tourism Ireland’s manager Italy, commented, “Tourism Ireland has an extensive programme of promotions under way in Italy this autumn to continue to grow Italian visitor numbers to the island of Ireland and to position us well for 2019. An important element of that programme involves working with influential intermediaries, including travel agents and tour operators. Our campaign with Albatravel will reach 14,500 travel agents around Italy, reminding them why Dublin and Belfast are a great choice of city break destination for their clients.”
