Pizza Hut To Hire 3,000 In Ireland and UK Expansion

Fast food chain Pizza Hut is investing €50 million into the business, creating 3,000 jobs in 200 new stores across Ireland and the United Kingdom over the next four years.

The Irish Independent reports the investment will go towards new outlets and staff, with a quarter of all openings being in their 'Express' format. These stores are smaller quick serve versions where customers can eat in or take away their order.

Raphael Miolane, the chief executive for Pizza Hit in the UK and Ireland, said: "We wouldn't be where we are today without our franchisees and we are looking forward to growing our existing relationships, whilst also developing new partnerships to achieve our ambitions".

The company had previously expanded back in 2012 when £20 million was invested into it's UK stores. Pizza Hut have also been testing out a new delivery tracking product which allows customers to receive continuous updates on their delivery.

Currently the fast food chain has more than 700 restaurants and takeaways in the UK and Ireland which employ 800 people.
