Plans To Replace Dublin Pub/B&B With Apartments Rejected

Employees at The Addison Lodge pub and B&B in the Dublin suburb of Glasnevin are currently breathing a sigh of relief as it's been announced that an application to build apartments on the venue's site has been rejected by Dublin City Council.

As reported by dublinlive.ie, developers were seeking permission to replace The Addison Lodge with 19 houses and a four-storey apartment building.

However, Dublin City Council have now dismissed the proposal on the grounds that it isn't in keeping with other buildings in the area and that the designs of the structures do not adhere to the Dublin City Development Plan 2016-2022.
