Bar Sales Volumes Increased 37.6% Year-On-Year In April
Bar sales volumes increased 37.6% year-on-year in April while values increased 40.2% year-on-year, according to provisional seasonally-adjusted figures from the Central Statistics Office (CSO).
As reported by drinksindustryireland.ie, provisional bar sales volumes increased 42.2% in April from March while values increased 23.3% from March.
Three Month Period
Bar sales volumes reportedly decreased 81.2% year-on-year during the three month period from February to April while values decreased 81.4%.
Additionally, bar sales volumes reportedly decreased 53.3% during the three month period from February to April from the three month period from November of 2020 to January of 2021 while values deceased 55%.
According to the CSO's data, bar sales volumes and values were both down 88.8% in April of 2021 from the figures recorded for April of 2019.
