As reported by The Irish Times, including depreciation, the company recorded a loss of €1.77 million in 2017, which was down from €2 million the previous year. Meanwhile, the average number of people employed by the firm rose to 213 last year from 200 in 2016.

Redevelopment Plans

The latest figures for the Trump International Hotel and Golf Links arrive in the wake of the announcement that the resort is planning to invest €40 million in the construction of a new ballroom, leisure centre and 250 new bedrooms.

A note accompanying the accounts stated, "The directors are confident that in the forthcoming year the continued redevelopment will contribute positively to an increase in turnover and the return of operating profits in 2018."
