The River Court Hotel in the heart of Kilkenny city goes on sale by private treaty. CBRE have not officially released a guide price for the property, but it is expected to reach in excess of €7.5 million.
The property is ranked as one of the most highly recommended 4-star hotels in the south-east of Ireland.
The hotel has 90 suite bedrooms, restaurant, bar and outdoor terrace viewing the medieval castle and the river Nore. It also has wedding, banqueting and conference suites as well as a leisure centre with an indoor pool and steam room.
"This sale provides the purchaser with an excellent opportunity to establish a very strong foothold in the upper end of the lucrative Kilkenny hotel market and capitalise on the future undoubted potential of the Kilkenny River Court Hotel," CBRE told the Irish Independent.
