Rossharbour Resort Completes £1m Expansion

Co. Fermanagh's family-run Rossharbour lakeside resort is celebrating its latest expansion following a £1 million investment with support from First Trust Bank.

Situated on the shores of lower Lough Erne, Rossharbour has completed extensive landscaping across its six acres of land and added three self-catering lodges to the site, bringing accommodation capacity up to 84 guests. The resort now features four glamping pods, five wigwams and six family-sized cottages.

Wedding Facilities

Along with a games room, sauna, spa and afternoon tea packages, Rossharbour has invested in its wedding facilities as it aims to expand Fermanagh’s wedding destination credentials. The resort has two permanent event marquees along with an outdoor ceremony area.

The £1 million investment represents the first phase of an extensive expansion programme, with plans in place to build a spa and glamping pod village at the resort next year.

Owner's Vision

Rossharbour Resort owner and manager Darren Johnston commented, “It’s a pleasure to welcome such a diverse range of guests to Fermanagh each day and help showcase Northern Ireland as a premier holiday destination. My vision for Rossharbour was to create a resort that could capture not only the the beauty and calmness of the area, but also offer adventure and fun in a luxurious setting. I think this latest expansion sets us well on our way to achieving and building upon this vision.”
