Ryanair Traffic Grows By 10% In February; Full Year Traffic To Hit 120m

Ryanair's latest traffic statistics for the month of February show that traffic has grown by 10 per cent to 8.2 million customers, up from 7.4 million compared to the same period in 2016.

The low-cost airline saw its load factor rise by 2 per cent for the month to 95 per cent and rolling annual traffic to February growing by 14 per cent to 119.1 million customers.

Ryanair’s Kenny Jacobs commented: “Our February traffic grew by 10 per cent to 8.2 million customers, while our load factor jumped 2 per cent points to 95 per cent, on the back of lower fares and the continuing success of our 'Always Getting Better' customer experience programme. Ryanair’s lower fares and AGB services are leading to slightly higher than expected load factors in Q4 and accordingly we now expect full year traffic to just about hit 120 million, up almost 13 per cent over the 106.4 million customers we carried in FY16.“
