Several Parties Interested In Acquiring Walkinstown's Kestrel Pub

Several parties are understood to be competing to acquire the Kestrel pub of Walkinstown in Dublin 12.

As reported by The Irish Independent, the current owner of the property, which hit the market with a guide in excess of €1.8 million in October of 2018, secured planning permission for the development of an exterior, sheltered beer garden and smoking area in June of 2015.

"An Ideal Opportunity"

Rory Browne of licensed property consultants Morrissey's asserted, "This represents an ideal opportunity to acquire a substantial and well-known suburban licensed premises complemented by function accommodation and investment income.

"The Kestrel provides the purchaser with the potential to further develop and enhance the property's existing high volume food and beverage business."
