Tifco To Open Hard Rock Hotel In Dublin In 2020

Irish hospitality group Tifco has announced plans to open a 120-bedroom, four-star hotel under the Hard Rock banner in Dublin in early 2020 as part of a €30 million development.

According to The Irish Times, the proposed hotel will be located on the capital's Lord Edward Street and will be comprised of the red brick Exchange Buildings, which were once occupied by the Parliament Hotel, and the adjacent Fashion House Building, which will be redeveloped to house the venue's entrance and reception area.

Musical Roots

Tifco chief executive Enda O'Meara told The Irish Times that the hotel will feature a "cool food and beverage" offering on the ground floor, with live music every night and there will also be a Rock Shop selling rock 'n' roll memorabilia.

Senior vice president and head of global development for Hard Rock International Todd Hricko commented, "Ireland has always been a place close to our hearts, and it only seems right to open a Hard Rock Hotel in Dublin, given the city’s musical roots. This is an exciting opportunity to extend our presence in Europe."
