Tourism Ireland Teams Up With Cathay Pacific To Grow Visitor Numbers From Australia

Tourism Ireland in Sydney has teamed up with Cathay Pacific to highlight the airline's new route from Hong Kong to Dublin - launching in June - for Australian residents wishing to visit Ireland in 2018 and 2019.

The campaign, which will run until the end of April, includes online advertising as well as extensive social activity promoting the new service to Dublin from Australia, via Hong Kong. The campaign is also highlighting Ireland's culture and scenery.

Tourism Ireland’s manager for Australia & New Zealand, Sofia Hansson, said, “Our aim is to keep the island of Ireland ‘front of mind’ for Australian travellers considering a trip to Europe in 2018 or 2019, and to remind them that it is now easier to get to Ireland, with more flight options than ever before.”
