Visitor Numbers Soaring At Teeling Distillery

Teeling Whiskey founder Jack Teeling has revealed that more than 300,000 visitors have passed through the doors of the company's distillery in the Liberties of Dublin since its opening in 2015, generating revenues of almost €9 million.

As reported by The Irish Times, Teeling asserted, "It’s been another bumper year for visitors. We had 125,000 last year and we’re hoping to build on that, with growth of around 10-15% this year."

Additionally, Teeling stated that the company sold 750,000 bottles of Irish whiskey in 2017, declaring, "We’re going in the right direction, but we’re still small in the overall scheme of things. There are great opportunities in Irish whiskey at present."
