WOW Air Offering Transatlantic Flights for €133

Icelandic airline WOW Air is offering a number of promotional fares from Ireland, including a €69 each way flight to Reykjavik and transatlantic flights for as little as €133.

The budget carrier is offering flights to Boston, which includes a two-hour stopover in Iceland, for €133 on selected dates between October and December.

Despite the stopover, the price still represents great value, as a flight from Dublin to Boston with Aer Lingus in the same time period starts at €239 each way. The airline told the Irish Independent that while many flights are available at these prices, "the fares are low, however, we see great demand from our Irish customers and they do sell out."

The no-frills airline flies from Dublin to Reykjavik, Boston and Washington DC, with outward flights three times a week that offer connecting flights to the US cities.

“We are thrilled to be able to make transatlantic travel accessible for people who otherwise would not be able to afford it. We made a promise to keep offering low fares between Dublin and the USA, and these new fares are proof of this,” said Skúli Mogensen, chief executive of WOW Air.
