Emily Hourican
I write and edit fiction and non-fiction, books and journalism. I've written six novels. The latest, 'The Guinness Girls: A Hint of Scandal' is published September 2021. The Glorious Guinness Girls was published September 2020 in Ireland and the UK, and in the US in May 2021. I have written a non-fiction memoir about motherhood, 'How To Really Be A Mother,' published by Gill Books in 2013. I also edit Hospitality Ireland magazine and write weekly for The Sunday Independent, mainly features and interviews, and for The Gloss. I have written for Conde Nast Traveller, Time Out, Woman & Home Magazine and many more publications, in Ireland and the UK. I have ghost-written and edited books and memoirs, and advised on fiction projects. I teach creative writing privately and through the Irish Writer's Centre
