Inaugural Craft Beer Festival Launches In Belfast

This weekend, the Custom House Square will welcome the first staging of the Belfast Craft Beer Festival, which  will showcase the very best Irish craft beer, cider makers and distillers.

To complement this, there will be live music, talks from brewers, artisan food and a DJ playing throughout the night.

The likes of Galway Bay Brewery, Farmageddon, Kinnegar, O'Hara's, Wicklow Wolf, and Trouble Brewing will be serving their beers at the festival.

Bushmills whiskey, Shortcross gin, and cider from Mac Ivors and Orpens will also be available for those wishing to try something besides beer. With over 150 beers available to festival goers, much needed food will come from Jolly Pies, Broughgammon and Mikes Fancy Cheeses.

With more and more beer festivals being launched throughout Ireland, it's clear that the growth of craft beer here shows no sign of slowing down.
