La Rousse Foods has announced its distribution partnership with Nice Fruit, which is based in Barcelona, Spain. After decades of research with high-ranking universities, the company has found a new technological process that allows the freezing of fresh, ripe fruits and vegetables whilst keeping their original structure and conserving their organoleptic properties: appearance, smell, flavour, texture and all vitamins.
Nice Fruit received awards for its innovative technology at the largest food shows in the world: five Innoval Awards at the 2014 Alimentaria Food Exhibition in Barcelona (the first time so many awards were won at once) and two awards at SIAL 2014 in Paris: Best Product of the Year and Innovation in Catering and Food Service products. In addition to those awards, the product was recognized as a trendsetter in pleasure, health and practicality.
