Bear Market Coffee To Open New Store In IFSC Dublin

Bear Market Coffee has announced it will open its eighth store in Custom House Plaza, IFSC Dublin.

"Dublin's finest specialty coffee has found its new home, right here at Custom House Plaza," said a statement on its Instagram page.

"Take a break from the daily grind. Our new store is not just about the coffee – it's about creating the perfect environment for those informal meetings, a quick recharge, or even just a moment to stretch those legs."

Humble Beginnings

Former architects Stephen and Ruth Deasy launched Bear Market Coffee in 2009 when they opened open their own stall in the Blackrock Market.

After gaining a loyal following, they set up a permanent shop in Blackrock.

Specialty Coffee Shop

After becoming one of the first specialty coffee shops in Dublin, Bear Market Coffee has quickly grown to seven shops across Dublin including Stillorgan, Blackrock, George's Street, Westland Row, Pembroke Street and Ballymun.

The company sources its beans from all over the world including countries like Colombia, Ethiopia and Peru. Its Colombian house roast and main suppliers are certified B-corp organisations to ensure its supply chain is transparent and ethical.

Bear Market Coffee said it has personal relationships with some of the Speciality Coffee Association’s best green bean suppliers from around the world and each type of coffee available has been independently selected and approved by its team of coffee experts.

Hand Crafted Batches

At its Stillorgan location, customers can experience the full process from green bean to cup in the surroundings of the 150 year old former church.

Bear Market Coffee roasts its coffees in small hand crafted batches.
