On Wednesday 10 July, La Mere Zou of Stephen's Green will host a special meat-tasting evening, showcasing Irish meats, with Irish beef, pork, Connemara Hill lamb and Irish ox all to be served in a seven course feast. The tasting evening will cost €55 for seven courses or €80 with accompanying wines.
The menu will include terrine of pig's head with sourdough toast and sauce Gribiche; chicken consommé with fresh peas and herbs; roast rack of Connemara Hill lamb with red pepper purée and sauce Paloise; braised ox cheek with poached duck egg and watercress purée and chargrilled Irish beef fillet marinated in black tea.
