The European Travel Agents' and Tourism Operators' Association (ECTAA) conference is being held in Dublin this week hosted by The Irish Travel Agents Association (ITAA).
Considering we are holding the EU Presidency and it being the year of The Gathering, Ireland seems to be the perfect candidate to host ECTAA.
The President of the ITAA, Clare Dunne, is organizing the ECTAA biannual meeting in Dublin. The event will exhibit what what Ireland has to offer as a holiday destination to potential visitors.

ECTAA will be discussing the new IATA Distribution Capability (NDC) project, air passenger rights legislation, the EU Package Travel Directive (PTD) and the recent European Court of Justice court rulings on VAT.
Speakers at the conference include Michel J. de Blust; Secretary General of ECTAA ,recently appointed Boris Zgomba; President of ECTAA and David McCaig, President of the Canadian Association of Travel Agents.
The conference will be attended by over 50 of Europe's leading travel industry professionals in Bewley's Hotel, Ballsbridge.
