Hollywood actor Liam Neeson has teamed up with Tourism Ireland to provide the voiceover for its latest video promoting the Global Greening Initiative.
The one minute video features shots of the landmarks that will be lit up on 17 March, interspersed with scenes from Ireland's tourist attractions, narrated by the Antrim-born actor, wishing people a happy St. Patrick's Day.
The Global Greening initiative, which is in its sixth year of running, is a marketing campaign by Tourism Ireland to promote the day around the world and drive tourism to Ireland in 2015.

The landmarks that will be "going green" include the Empire State Building; the London Eye; the "Welcome to Las Vegas" sign; the Leaning Tower of Pisa and the Christ the Redeemer statue in Rio de Janeiro, among dozens of others.
Tourism Ireland is hoping the video, thanks to the appeal of the Taken star, will be shared among various social media to create a link between the promotional campaign and holidaying in Ireland.
